Locations in the Keys are identified by Mile Markers (MM). Key Largo starts at Mile Marker 106 and Key West ends the Keys at Mile Marker 0. Therefore, if you see an address that says ‘MM100’ it would mean that the location is 6 miles South from the Top of Key Largo, or 100 miles North of Key West. “MM30” would be 76 miles South from the Top of Key Largo, or 30 miles North of Key West.
“Overseas Highway” is US1 and you will also see that displayed in many addresses throughout the Keys.
